Sydney, Australia - A Beautiful City

Many of us are drawn to the beauty of the Australian landscape and it doesn't get better than Sydney.  It could be something as simple as wanting to take in the world renowned Sydney Opera House or the allure of a new world.  Whatever your reason for a visit, you'll be hard pressed to find many other cities the world over that can offer you what Sydney can.  Great weather and great people make this one of the world's most exciting places to visit or live.  The culture oozing from history blended seamlessly into modern society is something to be experienced. 

Sydney is considered to be one of the major hubs in all of Australia and it's no question why.  The city hosts magnificent architecture that many of us haven't ever had the opportunity to witness.  Things like the Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Sydney Opera House are recognized the world over, even by those who have never stepped foot on her soil.  When not taking in its astounding architectural there is entertainment abound.  Things like the circular quay, which is the hub of the Sydney Harbor, can be an exciting place to be on a beautiful summer's day. 

Sydney doesn't stop with simple entertainment or shopping, either.  It has an incredibly rich history which is reflected throughout the city.  It serves as the state capital of New South Wales, or NSW, making it a major hub for government as well.  Its history lives in something known as The Rocks which should be seen.  These carvings date back to the original settlers of Sydney and, although modern civilization has destroyed much of the evidence, there are still carvings standing today. 

Sydney hosts plenty of options for getting around, too.  There are buses, taxis, ferries, and trains to help shuttle you from point to point.  If public transportation isn't your thing, though, there are plenty of places that you can rent a vehicle.  In the end, Sydney, Australia has something for everyone.  It's considered one of the world's most livable cities and, to many, it's no question why.  From the Sydney Opera House to world class entertainment and shopping, everyone can find a reason to love it.  Even its history is rich.  Getting around is quite simple due to an efficient public transportation system.  There are plenty of sites to take in on your visit.  Don't be surprised if you fall in love with the city and find yourself longing to return!
